  • Participation of the project UnIvEnt on the fair EU EDUCATION FAIR

    UnIvEnt project staff member Dilshod Urinov has participated in a two day Education Fair “Study in the European Union”, which was organized with the initiative of EU delegation in Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with Embassies of EU states in Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of Republic of Uzbekistan held on November 11-12, 2013 in Tashkent Architecture and Building Institute.

    During this event EU Education Fair was organized, where a presentation of UnIvEnt project has taken place as well. 8 posters, booklets, journals of the materials for two international conferences of UnIvEnt project and other hand out materials were prepared and distributed.

       

  • International experience exchange within UnIvEnt project

    Within UnIvEnt project activities a leading specialist of Ferghana Province Scientific-production Center of Agriculture (FSPCA) Adilbek Salaydinov visited Azerbaijan on November 2-9, 2013 following the invitation of project partners from Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ASAU) and Ganja Agribusiness Association (GABA).

    The main objective of the visit is experience exchange with the specialists of GABA on agricultural production and agro technical handling of the production, application of advanced technologies in viticulture, and creating new vineyard plantation on 1 ha of land area applying Uzbek technologies.

    Preliminarily climate and soil conditions of the appointed area in the farming enterprise of Gakh district were studied and analyzed, technical means were prepared and needed materials were procured. Rods of 15 table variety, vinous and seedless types of grapes from Uzbekistan were planted in the appointed land. Local specialists were given consultations on agro technical handling of the rods.

    Partners form Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are hoping for further cooperation in the sector after the project end as well.
