Enhancement of role of universities in transfer of innovations into enterprise

    January 2011 – a trip of  ITC members to Germany took place, where the first joint seminar of Univent project was conducted in the limits of educational visit made by partner countries’ representatives  to HTWK in Leipzig, Germany.

    Each partner introduced a presentation referred to his organization and determined personal vision of its participation in reaching common aims of the whole project. After each presentation a discussion was made, this allowed the members of seminar to ask concrete questions about the work of partners, and to include some suggestions concerning development of their function role in the project.

    A special educational excursion to the media centre of HTWK was made, where the one more new approach to specialists’ preparation to production process was visually presented. The members of the excursion examined special equipped premises of Media Centre, where the students prepare various types of media production items. The visitors made conversations with students who had special courses in The Centre, and examined the samples of finished media production, while the teachers of the Centre informed about achievements of their students, many of those receive invitations to work in prestigious companies even during their studies owing to contacts with various media corporations.

    A special educational excursion to Innovation Centre attached to HTWK was made, the scientific staff of which is engaged in development of innovation ideas in the sphere of IT studies and, in particular, robotics. The visitors had a chance to verify how the students are involved in the process of high – intellectual production. The excursion organizers displayed the samples of finished production items and informed about the success in worldwide competitions, and expressed their willingness to collaborate with innovation groups of Uzbek and Azerbaijan Universities.
