Trip to Alicante

In May 19-30, 2011 project partners from Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan have had a study visit to Spain. During a period between May 23 to May 31 a target visit to the University of Alicante, Spain was conducted.

During the meeting process of partners from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Spain, visit of Innovation Centre, business incubators and science parks a precious experience in creation, organizing and management of centers was exchanged.

As the result of a Round Table event, details of Innovation Transfer mechanism in University of Alicante were determined. Partners made a decision to take the mechanism of UA as the basis of a new CTI model within the frames of the project. Strategy outlines of an upcoming website including aims, targets, content and functions were determined.

The project led to the real interest among members and students of University of Alicante, for example, they expressed their wish to get more detailed information about countries – partners. As response, representatives of Uzbekistan organized a cultural event where scientific, economic achievements and national traditions of Republic of Uzbekistan were brightly presented. The event attracted many guests who obviously were introduced closer to the project essence. This increased the number of businessman and students who made their wish to cooperate with the project.
